CAD – Computer Aided Drafting

CAD is a detailed course on the use of AutoCad, starting with basic command usage through advanced engineering drawings. Approximately 90% of the course is lab instruction which allows the student to practice concepts within their own disciplines such as Mechanical or Architectural.Students Learn: Third-Angle Projection Layouts, Dimensioning Techniques, Sections/AUX views, Detail and Assembly Drawings and Plotting Techniques. Advancing students can participate in 3D Wireframing Parametric Solid Modeling, and CAD/CAM.
